a quickie

Just a quickie entry since I've not done anything in a while here. Sadly, I'm hurrying so that I can indulge in a full night of television--the delicious treat of the evening, my dessert, being The Apprentice (I know, the decline of civilization as we know it). Hurrican Ivan is currently wreaking havoc and I know I'm going to be really disappointed if school isn't closed tomorrow. Even though I have an easy day scheduled (all vocab quizzes) I would surely love to sleep in. It's been raining like crazy and the wind is truly frightening. And what have I been doing since I got home today? Playing with a new blog on blogger that will be focused on my teaching. So far, my first entry there looked pretty boring, but i'm just getting the hang of it. I got a little inspired last night reading some of the younger teachers' blogs about their work, so I thought I'd give it a try. We'll see.

I just want to write again. I haven't hit inspiration or anything like it yet, but I just want to feel words spilling out of me. I figure if I do it long enough, something good has to come out again. Right?
